Four LS News' staffers earn six Student Keystone Press Awards
Earlier today, the Pennsylvania News Media Association Foundation announced the 2016 Student Keystone Press Award winners. Among the winners were four Lampeter-Strasburg students representing five contest categories for a total of six different Keystone awards. Keystone winners were Justin Burkett, Ashley Crutcher, David Johnson, and Benjamin Pontz. LS News' Editor-in-Chief Benjamin Pontz personally earned four Keystone awards.
The Student Keystone Press Awards contest recognizes high school and college journalism that provides relevance, integrity and initiative in serving readers. There are 16 contest categories ranging from general news to website.
Winners will be honored at the Student Keystone Press Awards Luncheon during the America East Media Business & Technology Conference on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at the Hershey Lodge & Convention Center. Here is the complete list of high school Student Keystone Press Award winners.
