This score held until about the one minute mark, when Hailey Leaman and Drouillard made three-pointers on back-to-back possessions. Both were assisted by Megan Manion. L-S softball season preparations underway

Image
The Lampeter-Softball program is getting ready for the season by hosting open gyms and entered into A nook sports scrimmage. This also gives a chance for the players to get gameplay before the actual season.  The open gyms are hosted at the Hans Herr gym or on the L-S football field. At these open gyms, girls work on fielding, out fielding, and batting. On the nook game on Monday, January 18, the L-S girls played two shutouts. The open gyms are on every Tuesday after school from 3:15 till 5 pm. Last year varsity lost five seniors, so there are five new spots on the varsity. There are 8 to 9 seniors this year. This is a great time for girls to come out to get noticed by the coaches. This is also a great way to practice. Be sure to tell your friends to come out to the open gyms. This is going to be an excellent season. By  Gabby Hiles, LS News reporter
