McClintock, Welchans lead girls; Raum leads boys in L-S XC's home meet
In scorching heat compounded by ridiculous humidity, the Lampeter-Strasburg Cross Country team hosted the first of its two home meets today, and as a team, was quite successful.
"It was hot, but we worked as a team to push through," remarks senior captain Caleb Gawne.

"The girls packed up well," says senior Beth DiBiase. "All of us pushed one another to stick together. I'm proud of us."
Both cross country teams should be proud of their performances in what felt like a sweltering summer sauna. Each and every runner had positive attitudes and a strive for excellence.
