High School students celebrate Homecoming week

It is one of the most exciting weeks of the school year. It’s Homecoming!

Each day this week is themed. Today is Tropical Tuesday. Wednesday is We the People (wear red, white, and blue). Thursday is Class Color Shirt Day. Friday is Blue and White Day.

During school on Thursday we have a BIG pep rally scheduled where all the fall sport's teams are introduced all with the homecoming court. You can read more about the homecoming court here.

Thursday night is the annual Powder Puff game. Powder Puff is a game of flag football between the junior and senior girls with the junior and senior boys playing the part of the cheerleaders. At Powder Puff's half time the Homecoming King is crowned.

Then Saturday is the big day, the Homecoming Dance. This year's theme is 1950s LA. The dance is in the cafeteria and starts at 7 pm and runs until 10 pm.
