Central cruises to tennis victory, continuing streak

The boys tennis team suffered a tough 6-1 loss against an undefeated Manheim Central team this Thursday afternoon.
Coach Mark Trach confers with his top doubles team of Evan Winters (L) and Tyler Thomas; the conference did not produce a win, however, as the team fell 6-1
After Central sweeped our boys in the doubles matches 3 to 0, Greg Mowrer was feeling a bit doubtful about their chances at a comeback, saying, “We're not worthy to end the streak,” referencing Manheim Central’s respectable win streak entering the match.

Although Mowrer wasn't feeling too great about the team’s chances of winning, he did not let it affect his play. He won his singles match in a tiebreaker to give L-S it's only win of the day.

With this loss, L-S now possesses a 5-6 record (3-5 in league play); 7th out of the 10 teams in their section.
