Lampeter-Strasburg rallies for dramatic 30-27 win at Bishop McDevitt, earns district title bid
Do you believe in miracles?
The first half L-S was down 20-0, and it wasn't looking too good for us. But the third quarter was a whole different team. The team came out and scored two touchdowns in the third quarter, and were on fire. In the 4th quarter, the score was 20-23 and the crowd was crazy until McDevitt ran in another touchdown, making the score 27-23.
Luckily, L-S wasn't ready to give up. We got the ball and the boys ran it in for a touchdown, making the score 26-30. It was an intense fourth, we were all hoping that McDevitt wouldn't score again, and our defense did a great job of making sure nothing even came close. We were able to hold McDevitt off and the crowd erupted. The student section jumped over the fence to go out and celebrate with the team.
We couldn't be more proud of the football team and the coaches! They have worked so hard this season and they deserve the best. I can't wait for another Friday under the lights.

On Friday night, Lampeter-Strasburg erased a 20-point halftime deficit to beat Bishop McDevitt, 30-27. This was one of the biggest wins in the history of Pioneer football having never before beaten Bishop McDevitt.
The football team went into a game we thought we wouldn't win, but we did. It was such a cool experience for the football and cheerleaders! It is a game none of us will forget.
