GSA invites recent L-S graduates to discuss college experiences

On Thursday, December 21, the Lampeter-Strasburg GSA held a Christmas party and welcomed back two alumni guest speakers to discuss college life.

The first was 2017 L-S graduate Lily Murr who said, “College is definitely a place where you can find yourself and feel good about doing so. Diversity is a big part of college life. And even if you don’t go to college, there are so many organizations around that you can join. In the real world, being your own person is easier, in my opinion. You don't have to be afraid of not fitting in; there’s going to be some group that makes you feel welcome.”

Sarah Goldberg, who also graduated in 2017, stated “college is a huge change but it is really fun.”

Members of the GSA brought food and even invited students from outside the club to join in the fun. During the party people socialized and had an all around good time.
