Field of Dreams: Boys Soccer defeats previously unbeaten Ephrata team
Last night the unbelievable happened as the Lampeter-Strasburg Boys Soccer team defeated the previously unbeaten Ephrata Mountaineers, 1-0. Derek Eckman scored the lone goal for the Pioneers with Logan Heister assisting. Goalie Paul Keller had seven saves.
What makes this win even more amazing is the team had been suffering a bit of a slump having lost two of their previous three league games.
The Pioneers are now 6-5-0 in Section Two with an overall record of 8-6-0. Come out tonight at 7 pm to support the Boys Soccer team as they take on Garden Spot here at home.
