Softball team routs ELCO 15-0

The softball team cruised to another victory Wednesday afternoon as it caused invocation of the mercy rule against ELCO with a 15-0 win.
Jordyn Kondras was a key offensive contributor for the Pioneers

Ace Jordan Weaver threw yet another spectacular game, this time a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts.

Meanwhile, senior infielder Bri Garber recorded the 100th hit of her Pioneer career with a drag bunt to the first base side. All told, the top five hitters in the L-S lineup went a combined 14 for 17 at the plate, which included triples from Hanna Garber, Delaney Baker, and Jordyn Kondras.

"It feels good to play L-S softball," says Kondras in regards to the blowout.

With the win, the team advances to 6-0. Its next game is on Friday at Cocalico.
