Weekend Edition: 'In A Moment' by Kristin Donaldson

In A Moment
By Kristin Donaldson

Lights all about the room flicker brightly,
He walked her way in a single moment,
Her mind certainly cannot take lightly,
The thought of what his smile had meant
What had the dance been to them all this time,
Was it a memory lost to the wind,
And has it been that their flaws may’ve sinned,
Could it be that they are partners in crime,
But they came together on a sunny day,
In a moment two travel the same road,
Knowing that neither would ever go away,
They came to live in a humble abode,
In a moment they clicked at the start,
Like a thief they stole each other’s hearts
