Weekend Edition: 'You, Me and the Trees' by Andrea Adams

I am not a cookie cut-out
I do not strive to make Them happy
I strive to make myself happy
The loaming trees all look the same,
But in reality each is unique
Each has its own fingerprint of leaves
The trees do not strive to make Them happy
They hold no concern for Them
They do not like that
They destroy what is not theirs
Who do you think you are?
Running around leaving scars?
You are tearing this world apart.
